Berghs School of Communication continues to impress on the international stage. In this year’s edition of Young Ones, the global championship for young creatives, Berghs students have been awarded a total of 38 awards – more than ever before. This once again places Berghs School of Communication among the world’s top creative schools.

Young Ones is organized annually by The One Club for Creativity in New York and attracts students from communication and design schools around the globe. Entries are judged on creativity, craftsmanship, and strategy – and the competition is fierce.

“This is a fantastic acknowledgment that we’ve been doing the right things over time and that we’ve managed to create an environment where our students are given the right conditions to sharpen their creative abilities in both idea development and execution. As always, it also comes down to making the most of things – to have the drive to push oneself and put in the hard work that’s required – and this year’s students have truly shown they’re willing to do just that!” – Svante Ahlman, Program Director for the program Art Director/Copywriter

The exact breakdown of the awards will be revealed at the gala in New York in May. But even now, it’s clear that our students continue to rank among the best in the world in their field.

“Competing is an effective way to practice creative thinking, generating ideas, executing, and iterating. And to be able to benchmark against more than 150 creative schools around the world – that’s both challenging and inspiring. At Berghs, we teach our students commercial creativity and train them to be curious, to understand context – and to see what actually drives value. Communicative action is more important than ever!” – Camilla Wallander, CEO

Berghs views international competitions as a vital part of its action-based learning model. Working with well-defined briefs, collaborating in teams through the insight and idea phases, and being coached by industry professionals provides invaluable training in the craft. The school supports students with information, engagement, mentorship, and financial assistance. Over the years, the students' innovative solutions have earned the following global rankings:
