It’s time. On May 23–24, Berghs opens its doors for the annual graduation exhibition — now transformed into a two-day communication festival: The State of Words. Join us as we ask: How are the words doing, really?

178 students invite you to explore a world built entirely on words — where language is free to move, flux, bend, and build new meaning. Through 21 graduation projects, interactive installations, performances, and unexpected experiences, words take the stage. Because if words shape our world, it’s time we all had a say. In a time of templates and twisted headlines, The State of Words Festival is a space where language breathes again — and where you're invited to write, question, connect, and create.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- 21 creative graduation projects by 178 students
- Interactive installations & performances
- Live DJs & spontaneous happenings
- Outdoor oasis with food, drinks & vibes
- Playful encounters with language — and with each other
FESTIVAL INFO:
- Friday, May 23 - Exhibition opens: 12:00. Festival kicks off: 17:00 and ends at 01:00.
- Saturday, May 24 - Open: 12:00–17:00
The festival is curated by this year’s Student Agency – twelve students from across Berghs programs, working together to create a truly unforgettable celebration of creative communication.
